A Few Ways to Wear

A Few Ways to Wear

“A Few Ways to Wear” is an exploration of physicality in relationship to large structures in public spaces as well as the relinquishing of power to be suspended by other people. Calling in to question the boundaries of wearable installation, it consists of three different strategies for wearing buildings or surrounding structures.  Each iteration establishes a varying relationship to the space and the tape itself.  It also evokes imagery of bullying and submission due to a sense of scale and inherent violence in the act of being suspended in such a manner by someone else.
