Coffee + Networking Detroit

Last Friday, I attended Coffee + Networking Detroit, hosted by the Michigan Business Networking Meetup (MBNM) at Newlab @ Michigan Central. The event is designed to bring local business owners together to share resources, connect, and strengthen the community bonds that help businesses grow.

The session was organized by Melissa Douglas, a talented brand and commercial photographer, who has worked hard to foster a strong, collaborative network of Michigan business owners. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet individuals from a wide variety of industries, including finance, insurance, somatics, and marketing. What stood out to me was how each person had a unique story to share, paired with the enthusiasm and drive to make meaningful connections.

Newlab @ Michigan Central is part of the larger Michigan Central ecosystem, a hub for technology and cultural startups located next door to the historic and newly renovated Michigan Central Station. The space brings together innovators from all over the world to address the future of transportation, urban living, and sustainability.
