Laura King-Pazuchowski

Laura King-Pazuchowski is a writer, performer, and production designer. She is nicknamed the “Minimalist Advisor” by collaborators and friends for her ability to find life in the small, mundane details. In performance, she uses everyday objects, music, monologue, and body to explore physical boundaries and social constructs in everyday experience. She has presented work at the Detroit Contemporary, Detroit Fringe Festival, Walters Art Museum, Chicago Fringe Festival, UC Davis, and many more. Since 2010, she has leveraged her performance experience and storytelling to design shows and commercials with collaborators such as Detroit Theater Collective, ESPN+, NFL Films, Ford, and Consumers Energy. She is a member of the Production Designers Collective and holds degrees from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design (BFA Art and Design) and Towson University (MFA Theatre).

She is continually looking for new collaborations in film and art-making.
